About David A. Green, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Green is a urologic surgeon with expertise in the surgical management of urologic cancers. After receiving his M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Green completed his residency in urology at New York Medical College. He then completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian/ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical Center during which time he authored numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters on the topics of bladder, kidney, and prostate cancer.
Dr. Green's expertise is in treating all cancers of the genitourinary tract, including cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, ureter, and testis. His training in the da Vinci robotic surgery platform enables him to incorporate minimally invasive approaches to complicated urologic disorders – both malignant as well as benign.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Green serves in a number of leadership roles at New York-Presbyterian Queens as Director of the Genitourinary Tumor Board and the clinical site lead for the Prostate Group disease management team. His leadership positions in these committees inform his multidisciplinary approach to urologic cancer management.
Dr. Green is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
